The town of Ellenton is located in McNett Township, Lycoming Co., Pa. When the author was given a map of the town listing all the people who resided in the log and frame houses, along with information on their family histories, the author was compelled to document the history of this community so the information would not be lost. There are chapters on the history of the town; the families and farms; the school, railroad, and store; the church and Sunday School; as well as census and burial information.
