The best relevant history of our Swiss German ancestors I could want
What our ancestors suffered for their faith and way of life is nothing short of abysmal. It is no wonder they finally fled to what was then British Colonial America. And it is not difficult to see why the writers of our American constitution were adamant about not establishing state religion.

"The principle of religious freedom is so proper that it has to be fought for and won" p 15.
