This is the life story of pioneer Bishop John P. Yoder (1885-1975) married 1^st to Ida Kropf and 2^nd to Clara Kropf and his four children as well as his home communities of Kalona, Iowa and later Harrisburg, Oregon. It is also the history of the Mennonite Church in Oregon. A notable forefather of his was the Indian captive Jacob Hochstetler.
