Mennonite families are known to have lived at Friedelsheim, Germany, since 1682 when the following held hereditary leases: Christian Herschi, Ulrich Wiedemann, Jost Ebersol, and Hans Borkholder. In 1715, we know that the following families lived here: Ebersohl, Ellenberger, Herschi, Russer, Schneider, and Schanz. This book contains a history of the congregation; a register of births, baptisms, marriages, and deaths from 1814-1997, and a well-researched section listing names, birthplaces, birthdates, baptism dates, marriage dates, and death dates of the following families: Becker, Berg, Bergtholdt, Beutler, Blickensdurfer, Blum, Ellenberger, Finger, Gubel, Hege, Latscha, Leisi, Lichti, Neff, Pletscher, Risser, Schnebel, Schowalter, and Staufer.
