To reawaken community interest in the people, places and events that took place in this community, this is a retelling of the facts as well as an historical narrative of the East Whiteland Township community in Chester County, Pa. It is the authors' hope that the younger generation will be inspired to continue the important work of preserving historic sites and structures in East Whiteland, many of which trace their origins to the early 1700s before the birth of our nation.
