Old Order Mennonite Isaac R. Horst of Ontario, Canada, certainly contributed widely to the study of the Pa. German dialect and culture. Part I includes his writings in Pa. Dutch with English translations, as well as sketches of objects he encountered on the Canadian farm, which he prepared for use in the Comprehensive Pennsylvania German Dictionary series.
