Born on an Amish farm in the beautiful "Big Valley" of Central Pennsylvania, the author tells his memories of his childhood, as the 7th of 14 children. His pilgrimage led to wider horizons while working in Iowa, then attending Hesston College and Bible School in Kansas. During WWII he did alternative service as a conscientious objector then continued his education at Goshen College in Indiana. Attempting to pass on the Christian faith from one generation to another, he tells his story of God's faithfulness. (185pp. illus. Author, 2006.)
