Joseph Blocher (1777-1842), son of Mathias and Barbara (Schwab) Blocher, was born in York Co., Pa., and married Elizabeth Roberts (1784-1876), daughter of Conrad and Margaretha Magdalene (Frankforter) Roberts. They had 10 children and eventually moved to Darke Co., Ohio. This book includes their descendants, a section on Mathias Blocher the immigrant from Wuertemberg, Germany, as well as a section on Mathias' other children. (311pp. illus. index. hardcover.
