This book traces the two families of Michael Dietrich and Lenhart Dietrich. Michael (1736-aft. 1810) of Richweiler/Sims, Germany, arrived in Philadelphia aboard the Phoenix on Oct. 1, 1754. He married Maria Sarah Bernhart on Feb. 5, 1769, in Earl Twp., Pa. They had two sons, Jacob and John. Lenhart Dietrich (1732-bef. 1803) of Germany, arrived in Philadelphia on Sept. 26, 1753, aboard the ship Brothers. He first married Catherine and had 3 children.
