As a result of years of researching pension and service records, visiting gravesites, searching the internet and newspapers, and making use of sources from historical societies and archives, the biographical information of over 200 members of Company B and Company E men recruited from Lancaster County, PA, to serve in the Civil War are included here. Transcriptions of the diaries/memoirs of George K. Swope, George T. Lockwood, and John C. Harvey, the letters of Martin V. B.
